Description: Raising Turkeys for Market Harpers Weekly November 12, 1881 This is a nice wood engraved sheet which was published before the Thanksgiving holiday, over 140 years ago, in Harpers Weekly, Americas premiere illustrated periodical of the 19th Century. The overall print measures 11 x 16 inches in size. It has a few short edge tears in its blank margins, but is otherwise in excellent and very attractive condition. The print consists of 9 different woodcuts, drawn by Thaddeus de Thulstrup, one of Harper's most prolific artists.
