I do love a bit of sparkle ( the outlines are metallic ink) and really fancied drawing something gorgeously pretty. I have a deep love of the sea and the creatures that live in water. I think the nautilus gets overlooked a lot, which is a terrible shame because they’re fascinating creatures. This piece was so enjoyable and I hope that shows I've used heavy gold coloured pastel paper which is A4 size and indelible ink fine liners 0.1 in silver, gold, white, and coloured ink. The contrast between the cream colour of the paper and the coloured and metallic inks make the nautilus pop out of the page If you buy this direct from the artist drawing I shall post it in a heavy cardboard tube in a couple of days Don't be shy to make me an offer. I'd rather my pictures were appreciated by someone than stuck in a draw.
