Description: This 1959 stereo album by RCA Victor Red Seal (LSC-2355) features a performance of Sergei Rachmaninoff's Concerto No. 3 by Van Cliburn, accompanied by the Symphony of the Air, conducted by Kiril Kondrashin. This is a recording of a live performance on May 19, 1958 in Carnegie Hall. Album notes are in English, written by David Sarnoff, Chairman of the Board of RCA. The outer sleeve shows a small separation of about 1½" at the upper edge of the side opening, but is otherwise in excellent condition for its age. The inner sleeve shows a small edge split in the center of each side, due to the sharp edges of the record itself.
