Custom-dyed mohair plush with hand-painted features, resin hands and feet, glass eyes, inset whiskers and a leather tail. Limited to 200 pieces, this is No. 181. Complete with COA, original box and packed as it was when I bought it. Never exposed to smoke, perfume, or scent of any kind. I put the monkey away as soon as it arrived. As R. John Wright describes it: "Costumed in a felt jacket w/short cape embellished with an applied felt appliqué pattern. Corresponding felt strips cross his chest and to the back and a matching cap sits over one ear. Detailed wings made of alpaca 'feathers' identify Nikko as the leader of the fearsome Flying Monkeys." Produced at R. John Wright Dolls Studio workshop in Bennington, VT. Comes enclosed in deluxe Wizard of Oz presentation box w/ accompanying signed and numbered certificate of authenticity.
