Durdella published his first book, Qualitative Dissertation Methodology: A Guide for Research Design and Procedures (SAGE) in 2019, and he has previously authored or co-authored journal articles and chapters in edited volumes. Durdella holds a bachelors degree in sociology and political science, a Masters degree in Latin American studies, a Masters degree in education, and a Ph.D. in education—all from the University of California Los Angeles.
