Description: I have been asked if this water valve will work with other Apps , Sensors and hubs . I have tried this valve with the Smart Things App (see screenshot), an Aeoteck version 3 z-wave hub , "Plug-in" water sensor(see picture) and ZOOZ z- wave wireless water sensor everything worked the only issue was Smart Things recognized the Valve as a "Switch" so it shows "On and Off" as the 2 states . JUST Using the "Plug-in" water sensor allows the "Valve" to work as a "Stand Alone Unit",YOU WILL ONLY RECEIVE 'LOCAL" (VALVE ALARM AND OPERATION) NO Apps or Hub Required (you will be limited to the distance of the cable length ) . I would think similar devices would also work However, NOT GUARANTEED! IF Interested I can provide the names of the wired sensor and z-wave sensor (Which are NOT Included).
