Description: A translucent pale green jade pebble has been carved into a peach. It has a nice hefty smooth feel when held. The heavy and dense pebble of pale green jade has been expertly carved into a peach with a smaller peach attached. The peaches have a top with a branchlet and leaves. Leaves are also carved into the face of the large peach. The jade is translucent and has been hand polished. The stone has a soft and smooth feel. The top of the peach has a bit of a lighter color than the bottom. This is particularly noticeable in the small peach. The stone has white inclusions. MEASUREMENTS 1 ¾” (4.4 cm) tall x 1 ¾” (4.4 cm) wide x 1 3/8” (3.4 cm) thick. Weighs 2.66 oz (75.6 g) CONDITION There are no breaks, chips, or cracks. There is an inclusion line going through the top of both peaches. It is not a crack. There is a black spot on the surface a leaf that appears to be ink; I was able to remove part of it but a little bit remains. A large and heavy toggle to hold and admire. An auspicious carving of a peach to give happiness and good luck. The hand polishing gives a nice soft, translucence to the look of the jade.
