Description: For sale is a 1 1/2 quart divided casserole dish by Pyrex in the Snowflake Turquoise pattern. Released in the mid-1950s, Snowflake was one of the first patterns to feature Pyrex's new screen printing technology. This divided dish was promoted along side the growing popularity of frozen food as a way to serve two types in a single bowl. The divided stops just short of the rim. The Cinderella shape includes tapered tap handles at the long ends with small indent on bottom under divider. The exterior is finished in turquoise with band of white snowflakes on both side, a combination made from 1956 until 1967. This piece is in very good condition with no damage and gentle wear including light shelf wear on bottom (photograph 11). The graphics are excellent with a pinpoint of missing turquoise (photograph 12). (The dish is embossed on the bottom for Pyrex. Made in the USA.
