DOLL stringing BANDS The standard force by manufacturers is the amount of force that can be pulled/stretched on the band at 3 times it's size. A 1/8" band will only stretch to 3/8" max or only 9.32mm! A heavy band can be stretched at a stronger force. That's why heavy bands are better for stretching around everyday bows and medium bands are better to sew onto the back of bows.
