The Brit qualified for the race in P5 and produced an incredible drive to move his way past the Scuderia Ferrari and Oracle Red Bull Racing drivers and earn his first ever P1 finish. Norris became the first driver to take a maiden victory in the United States since Michele Alboreto in 1982.
