Description: Dark Victory Armory presents:a set of Spes Heavy Lobster Full Gauntletsfor Heavy List, WMA, Full-Contact Built of heat formed Polypropylene plastic articulated over beautiful natural and synthetic leathers, these gauntlets are equipped with a heavily padded mitten-like fighting glove evocative of clamshell gauntlets but using a signature lobster armor over the fingers. It features a nash palm and a plate reinforced fully padded cuff that extends down from the bend of the wrist about 4.5" (or 11cm). The back of the hand and fingers are protected by overlapping polypropylene plates which will deliver excellent durability with high resistance to cracking. This configuration provides comprehensive armor protection for a fighter's hands when engaged in full contact stick or steel fighting. Specially designed overlapping articulated plates shield the thumb from tip to wrist from impacts both light and heavy, and a styrogum thumb insert protects the bridge of the thumb from impacts that slip into the interior of the gauntlet. An adjustable buckled strap holds the gauntlet closed while the cuff holds its opening at the bottom for arm clothing or protection to slide underneath.
