Bought at a recent yard sale in the low country of South Carolina from an older black woman who said it had been in their family "for many years". Possibly Lowcountry Gullah but could be just an import with a good story. Sorry we didn't ask more questions. Not signed or dated. dark finish brown or black.Approximately 15-1/2" in diameter irregular. About 3-3/4" deep.Good antique condition with chips and cracks consistent with age.
