Description: BEAUTIFUL RARE KOKOWEEF CAVE ONYX SPECIMEN, from the Kokoweef caverns in southern California, is a material comprised of calcite and aragonite that formed as stalactites in the ceilings of this ancient cavern. This material will fluoresce a lovely green color under UV light, and since this location has been closed to the public for many years, it has become a highly collectible and sought after lapidary material. This piece comes from my own personal collection of 25 years. 3 5/8" x 2 3/8" x 2 1/8" All my pieces are photographed in an indoor light booth. I always disclose any obvious flaws or imperfections and I try to describe them as accurately as possible. Measurements are taken at widest points. I do combine shipping for multiple items.
