Description: A wonderful antique Edwardian solid 18k gold lab created ruby, diamond and pink tourmaline 5-stone ring, hallmarks of James Harrison, dated to 1915. This beautiful Edwardian era solid 18k yellow gold 5-stone ring is a glowing pink and sparkling white delight! The ring has a lovely lab created ruby at its center which glows a gorgeous deep pink color, the ruby with a glittering old rose cut natural earth mined diamond either side with fabulous natural earth mined pink tourmaline on each end which glow a beautiful raspberry pink when they touch the light, the channel carved shoulders overlap the setting creating a very elegant and pretty look. The ring has full English hallmarks with 'JH' for James Harrison (registered in 1902, Tenby Lane, Birmingham), the crown for gold, '18', the Chester town mark and date letter 'P' for 1915. The ring tests for 18k gold. The ring sits just over a size 5 3/4 (closer to 5.75 than 6). The ring measures about 15mm x 6.5mm across the face. The ruby measures about +/-3mm, the pink tourmalines +/-2mm and the diamonds +/- 1mm. The ring rises approximately 3mm above the finger and weighs about 2.2 grams. The ring is in general good condition with all over light general wear. Seen under a loupe one of the tourmalines has a chip to one edge. Please check all the pictures.
