Description: Measures 10in tall and 4in diameter. Joseph Belsinger established his Distillery in 1874. By the early 1900’s, it was located at 43-45 Whitaker Street. He also had a confectionery at 12 West Broughton Street with W.W. Gross. In 1907, Georgia became the first state in the south to pass a statewide ban on the production of alcohol. Belsinger & Co doesn’t not appear in Sholes’ 1908 Directory for Savannah.
