Activator isn't required but it can be quite helpful to get the best bond, especially with plastics and rubber. What Viscosity do you need? THICK takes a little longer to dry than regular CA to provide time for adjustment. Its for parts that don't fit together well and is also very good for porous or rough items. THIN is like water and is best for wicking into cracks and for items that fit together very tightly (no gap).The 1oz and 2oz glue bottles come with a screw-on "Pin-in-cap" bottle top (See Picture) which helps stop clogs and lengthen the shelf life. The larger bottles have "Yorker" tips which are designed for applying larger amounts and can be used to refill the smaller bottles. NOTE: all CA glue products often work best when used with an activator - which I sell separately in this case. The activator (also called "kicker" or "accelerator") isn't required but is very useful because it makes the glue dry on command. The activator also acts as a cleaner and surface prep agent for CA.
