Description: Beaumont Brothers Pottery Condiment Sauce Bowl & Saucer Blue Spongeware, Salt Glazed. Signed BBP 1990 with a Cross. Bowl is 3.5 in diameter and 1.5 in high. Saucer is 4.5 in diameter. Gerard 'Jerry' Beaumont founded BeaumontPottery, Inc. in 1970. He spent several years as the village potter at the Strawbery Banke Museum in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Later, he expanded his salt glaze works across the border into York, Maine. Over the years, he has built potteries in Crooksville, Ohio, Seagrove, North Carolina and Valle Crucis, all of which are still in operation, although under new owners. Jerry's mark, the Cross, continues to authenticate his pieces. *Warranties: all descriptions are accurate to the best of our knowledge. We are not experts nor have the items been authenticated.
