Description: Vintage postcard featuring Skyline of Wilkes-Barre Pa from Kirby Park. The card is a color type card, with rounded corners. The card has a catalog number of K-144-D-2 and 43645 on the back lower edge. It shows the Wilkes-Barre skyline from Kirby Park and the Sterling Hotel and the Market Street Bridge over the Susquehanna River. The card is not used with no dates but appears to be from the late 1940s or early 1950s or so. The reason being it has place a one cent stamp on it, postage went up to 2 cents in 1952. The post card is by Dextone and has made direct from Kodachrome and Ansco Color by Dexter Press. The card is in Excellent Condition with no rips, no writing and no creases. The card has some minor edge wear. The chrome cards that I post or other cards may have a shiny area and if it does it's due to the lighting when the picture was taken and unless otherwise stated is not part of the card but the picture taking process.
