Description: Wiring loom constructed using genuine Porsche parts to enable owners to retrofit the cruise control option to their car. Removable self adhesive labels on each wire for easy identification of individual wires. This loom is for the Porsche Boxster 986 and Porsche 996 (for facelift models of Boxster 2003-2004 and 996 Carrera around 2002-2005) Please note -There are a variety of instrument clusters and configurations so do please take time to check the cable you need, or just get in touch and we will try and help. This cable is needed for vehicles which control the cruise function from the instrument cluster. (Instrument cluster grey connector - pins 17, 4 and 1) There are numerous guides available online at sites such as renntech, pelican parts, BoxaNet etc. Owners will also need to purchase necessary stalk/switches, and have the function enabled - this is not included in this auction. For a modest additional charge we can also enable the option if required - this can be done with the modules on the vehicle or by courier service - Please feel free to get in touch for this service.
