Description: This vintage teapot from Porcelier China Co founded in 1927 in East Liverpool Ohio and moved to South Greenber PA in 1931. The company closed in 1954 with the rise in the popularity of plastics. This teapot features beautiful American Goldfinches with Black Wings pattern, making it a unique addition to any collection. The oval shaped spout (which reduces dripping) and large size of this round Vitreous China teapot allows for a 10 cup capacity, making it perfect for all occasions. The white teapot measures 10 inches in height and 5 inches in item diameter, with a width of 14 inches. The lid is included and the teapot was manufactured between 1927 and 1954 in the United States. TThis teapot is perfect for tea enthusiasts and collectors alike. The teapot is in excellent condition with no crazing or chips, however the edge of the spout (or pouring mouth) is rough to the touch. Please see pictures for more details.
