This figurine is made in Germany of high quality porcelain with very fine hand painted soft tones and fine cobalt and golden details. Porcelain production began in the municipality of Wallendorf, Thuringia in 1763 and operated under numerous restructurings, including its 1953 nationalization under the East German government, until 2008. The figurine has green Wallendorf Crown “W” 1764 mark, Germany (indicates production before WWII). Designer - Kurt Steiner?Excellent condition, no chips or cracks. Figurine displays very well.
