Up for auction is Poor Pitiful Pearl Doll by William Steig from 1955. All in all she is in really nice condition. She does have some blue spots on her face and back of her neck, I don't know what they are, may come off with a Mr. Clean eraser. Her body, which is cloth, is very clean. She does appear to have all of her eye lashes, I think they are just separated. Her eyes do open and close. There is a spot on her right eye at the bottom. Her hair, well, I'm not sure if it's supposed to be different lengths or if it's been cut. It looks like there have been varied manufacturers of this doll over the years so it's hard to find one to compare her to....although it seems a lot of them have blue dots, so I don't know what that's about. All in all she's a nice doll. Stands about 14" tall. Please review all photos as they give the best description. Sold as is. All sales final. I will combine shipping if purchasing multiple auctions. Thanks for looking today. Ships within the US only.
