Description: Lot is for a rare and unique comic book related item--this is a copy of the comic edition of the movie POLLYANNA by Walt Disney Productions--this is a French language edition (Votre Serie Mickey) and is Album #58 in their series of "Movie Classics". The book, published by the Walt Disney Company, was printed in 1965. Pretty much the same illustrations as found in the Dell Movie Classics edition of 1961, this French version has alternating color and black and white sections (first page gatefold is in color; turn the page, it's in black and white, etc.). Heavier stock covers than a normal comic book, and this one measures 6 3/4" x 9 1/2". Covers show some transverse spine creasing, and a 1/2" split in the spine at the bottom edge. Back cover has some tanning and corner creasing. Overall condition is a very good to very good +, with white pages and no markings. A really hard to come by vintage foreign edition of a familiar Disney comic product. See photos.
