Rainbow Light Play on the Gift Ko 25 inch Poinsettia Smart Parol A "Smart" Parol is a parol with color changing light bulbs - it is a Gift Ko exclusive design. We took an RGB (so called "Smart") light string and re-designed our capiz parol frames to hold over 45 LED light bulbs. The result is our first set of Smart Parols in 25 inch and 31 inch sizes on the Tala, Plantita and Poinsettia frames. The handcrafted parols are works of art on their own. With the RGB lighting, the capiz shell lanterns are transformed into miniature light shows. How do you control the lighting on a Smart Parol? Adaptor Plug There is a raised white button (labeled PRESS) on the plug that can be pressed to turn on the parol. The built-in mic is also beside this button so make sure this is clear of any obstacles for the rhythm sync functions. Press once each time to cycle through a number of pre-set lighting modes. Press for 3 seconds to turn off the lights. Remote Control A remote is included that has a number of pre-set static and dynamic lighting modes and rhythm sync. There are instructions for programming your own scenes. Note that Rhythm/Music Sync only works when the device and the parol/light string are on the same Wi-Fi network. Surplife App A QR code printed on the adaptor plug can be scanned to download a mobile app that offers more scene and mood lighting options. The Surplife app works on both iOS and Android devices.
