One stem is approximately 10 inches and the other stem 8 inches.Beautiful hand carved wooden tobacco pipe for the serious collector. They are typically from Central Europe; Germany, Austria, Czechoslovakia, and Switzerland. The wooden bowls are lidded as to allow for use in windy conditions or even in the rain. This pipe has the French "bruyere garantie" ("real briar" or "red briar") stamped on the bowl. Multiple bowl attachments included. Very unique and somewhat rare. One bowl has a beautiful hand carved image of a buck with another deer running through tall grass reeds around the tobacco filler. Carvings are perfect - no chips or brakes. The Pipe is better for light handling or display as the pieces can come apart without too much force. Please use caution or reinforce the joints if you plan to actually smoke out of this pipe.
