This unit was regularly powered on and used for some hours to insure components especially capacitors maintain performance integrity. The Pioneer offers excellent performance with a clean effortless powerful sound. The SA-9500 II has been tested with phono and monitored with mini-monitors and headphones as shown. As nearly always with vintage analogue gear, there may be a very slight static sound only when turning volume or balance controls or using switches, but this is never present otherwise.
