Description: Pioneer RT-707 Reel to Reel 4 Heads 3 Motors - Calibrated - Serviced Deck. This deck plays forward and Reverse. All functions verified. Counter belt and Pinch Roller (Leroy) are new! Mechanically serviced (including motor servicing, and settings up reel motor forces), and calibrated (playback EQ, record EQ, and head alignment). Trim pots and switches were cleaned and lubricated with Deoxit. Some noisy transistors were also replaced as needed. Ser# YD9302692. Rated voltage 120/220/240 VAC, 50 or 60 Hz. Heads have some wear, but it's 'straight' and high frequency response was still out to 20kHz. Wow/Flutter was .045 RMS and .081 Qpk. In short, a lot of work went into this deck, including cleaning and oiling internal parts and cosmetically pampered. It does, as with any Vintage machine some small minor dings and scuffs. Look at the pictures. A Pro COPY of the RT-707 Operation Manual from the original document IS included. A NOS Maxell UD 30-90 Tape, Pioneer PR-85 Empty Reel and RCA cables are Included! *** Note: MRL 21T104 Calibration Reel and Test Tape was used to show forward and reverse playback functions and IS NOT included!! *** This is a vintage device, born Dec. 1977 and there is always a risk that periodic cleaning, or repairs will be needed, to keep it functioning perfectly.
