Periodically, you tighten the nut holding on the metal button on the chrome lid/topper which loosen over time.... NO chips, no cracks, no flea bites…just expected bubble imperfections noted in the glass CHROME TOPPED LID insert holder to hold and hoist straws. Excellent collector item and in great shape From my grandparent's luncheonette memorabilia from the depression to post WW2era--found in the basement of the building they occupied on West 72nd street in New York City until about 20 years ago.
