The original boogie woogie record, that Tommy Dorsey would fashioned into a dance arrangement and launch a boogie craze that lasted a decade. Interest in boogie woogie started around in the mid 1930s. In 1936 Milt Gabler ordered 350 master pressed copies of this disc on the Commodore label and the Vocalion salesman had an extra 350 made with the original catalog number and sold them himself. Scarce pressing and higher quality than the original press.
