Description: **Read This If This is Your First Piano**Feel free to bypass the next sections and drop down to the listing details below. Whether or not this is your first time looking for a piano, finding a new (to you) piano is an endeavor that can bring years of joy to your family and yourself and piano's are one of the only household items that are designed to not only last, but continue to function and sound good for longer than we are likely to live. Just a little friendly advice though, for what it's worth; by the time most of the piano's you see here have gotten here they haven't seen professional service for what might be decades. It will cost you hundreds of dollars to get them in tune, much less 100% functional and delivered. Any piano you get from me will be ready to go with a minimum of fuss and expenditure. Also, it's recommended to have someone like myself inspect a piano before you take it, which I normally charge an $80 service call to do locally. That is another expense you don't have to worry about with my piano's. Pianos are as complicated as automobiles and I assume you wouldn't consider purchasing even a ten-year-old automobile without having someone check it out first. Caveat emptor. LISTING DETAILS: This piano sold for $3,700 in 2007.Gorgeous Red Mahogany (this is by far my favorite color finish) 46" Falcone Studio Piano in excellent condition with lid prop and sound escapement and with matching padded bench with music compartment. It also features the practice pedal, the middle pedal drops a felt down to muffle the sound; great for apartments or when someone practicing will bother everyone else. It has a lid prop shown in the first picture and also ports in the "knee board" shown in the 2nd to last picture; both of which allow sound escapement. A full 8 inches taller than spinet piano's; 8 inches in piano's makes a world of difference in tone and dynamics. Bigger is always better in piano's until they get too old at which time those benefits tend to be minimized. Old for piano's is older then you or I are likely to live. Acoustic piano's are always preferable to digital if you really play or expect to. I am a piano tuner and this has been my personal piano since a purchased it new in 2007, I have regulated it at least twice which is 2 times more than any other piano you'll find in this age piano locally. That is up to 17 friction points and adjustments that have to be done 88 times, needless to say it isn't cheap to do. Pianists of any skill level will simply love this piano and it will be a gorgeous addition to some lucky persons home. I can help you figure out how to get this piano delivered.
