Description: Pfaltzgraff Village Stoneware Coffee Serving Set that includes the Coffee Pot with Lid (No.6-550), the Sugar Bowl with Lid (No.6-22) & the Creamer Pitcher (No.6-24) ~ Old Castle Mark ~ made in the U.S.A. in the mid-1970'sThis listing is for the Pfaltzgraff Village Coffee Serving Set that includes the Coffee Pot with Lid, the Sugar Bowl with Lid and a Creamer Pitcher. These have since been discontinued. These five pieces are from one of the earliest productions of Pfaltzgraff Village Stoneware based on the Old Castle Mark backstamps that feature a large elongated castle with the letter "P" inside, followed by PFALTZGRAFF USA ©. This mark was used before 1977. As the Pfaltzgraff Village pattern was only introduced in 1976, it appears these Village pieces were made during the first two years of production. These older pieces are often found in good condition because they were made to withstand use over time. Collectors prefer these older pieces. In very good vintage condition - bright and shiny with no chips, cracks or stains. There is very light crazing that is typical of the earlier Village pieces, but is only noticeable upon magnification. Please see all the photos as they are an important part of this descriptionThese pieces sell for $73.97 + shipping on replacement sitesThe Coffee Pot (6-550) is 10 inches tall and 6 inches diameter at the baseThe Sugar Bowl (6-22) is 3-1/4 inches tall (5-3/4 inches high including the lid) and 4-1/2 inches diameter at the baseThe Creamer (6-24) is 4-1/4 inches tall and 4-1/4 inches diameter at the baseThe Coffee Pot & Lid weigh: 2 lbs., 10-1/2 ouncesThe Sugar Bowl & Lid weigh: 1 lb., 1-1/2 ouncesThe Creamer weighs: 14-1/2 ouncesTOTAL WEIGHT: 4 lbs, 10-1/2 ounces (without packaging) Will be very carefully packaged and shipped to you via USPS Mail, UPS or Federal ExpressTHANKS FOR STOPPING BY NOTES: Pfaltzgraff's Village pattern was introduced in 1976 (the year of America's bicentennial), and features a charming Early American folk art-inspired design rendered in dark brown against a cream-colored yellow custard background. These colors work well with a table setting based on the warm earth tones. This classic Early American look has remained popular for many years, and continues as a strong decorating style today.
