Description: Pentax *ist DS 6.1MP Digital Camera (DSLR) with Pentax-DA 3.5-5.6 18-55mm AL zoom lens, strap, Pentax lens hood, 2 GB Sandisk Ultra II SD card, body cap for the camera and both front and back caps for the lens. I am the original owner of this camera, and it is in excellent condition. Please see the photos. The camera uses four AA batteries, which are not included. You can use either alkaline or NiMH batteries. The camera takes excellent photos. The last 5 photos show in this listing were taken with this camera. All but the last were taken the same day I am listing this item on eBay. The final photo was taken about 10 years ago. The second from last photo was taken using the built-in flash on the camera. The camera body weighs 505 grams (18 ounces) without the batteries. The lens weighs 225 grams (7.9 ounces) without the hood. I do not have the printed instruction manual, but a PDF copy is easily located on the Pentax website.
