Easy & Fast Installation • STEP 1: Turn off pump and timer switches. • STEP 2: Loosen the compression nut at the end of the tube and remove the tubing. • STEP 3: Remove control valve. If short nipple stays in valve, carefully remove by using pliers at the center of nipple. Remove the 90° tube fittings. • STEP 4: Wrap short nipple with thread Teflon tape. Screw nipple into ½” FPT hole of feeder.Screw the new control valve onto other end of nipple. Tighten by hand, being careful not to overtighten. • STEP 5: Wrap 90° tube fitting with Teflon tape and screw into the control valve. Push compression nut over tubing end of elbow. Push tubing onto tapered end of elbow. Tighten nut firmly by hand. • STEP 6: Set control valve to #1. Turn on pump and timers. Check residual daily to determine proper setting.
