Taylor, 1987, synonyms include Cereus serpentinus , DC.,1828, Hyctocereus serpentinus (Lag. et Rodr.) Britton et Rose. A clean good sized cutting, aprx. 8 inches long on longer. We grow these out doors, so they may have minor scars, blemishes, but we pick the nicest available at time of shipping. A native of the Mexican states of Michoacan, Morelos and Oaxaca. Somewhat cold tolerant, survives cold temps. here in Tucson winters, but should be protected from frost. A good bloomer, produces large white flowers.
