It appears the PEER IMPORT made byPIBE-DAN shop in Copenhagen, Denmark. The shape correlates, and the shape numbers on these seem to be the same as their pipes. It’s also likely that’s it’s from the mid-1940’s to 1950’s. The pipe could be called a Danish version of a tall bowled billiard. This is a common shape to many Danish makers back then. The bowl shows off some really pretty birdseye and cross-grain, with rich color too, and has no fills or issues. The bowl interior is well seasoned, with a thin established cake. Draws easy and draw hole is bottom center, weighs 1.25 ounces. The stem is original, looks very well cut, has just a hint of a tooth mark on the button, nice shape. The pipe’s been freshly polished and is ready to smoke!
