Description: Here on Pathe records 036049 from 1920 is Nathan Glantz and His Orchestra with "Blue Rose" and The Lucky Strike Orchestra with "On The Old Lake Trail", the record visually appears to grade a V+ on the VJM scale and should play with very little surface noise. Please look at the pictures and feel free to ask any questions, I wipe records with a microfiber cloth I do not chemically clean them. Record playback quality will be highly influenced by the type of turntable, cartridge and tracking force used. Cleaning is recommended on all 78's as I stated earlier other than wiping with a microfiber cloth I don't clean them I like to leave that to the discretion of the next owner. I pack 78's in a 14 inch by 12 inch by 5 to 8 inch(depends on quantity) double box with cardboard pads and bubble wrap then it is placed in more bubble wrap or peanuts, all single 78's are shipped in a vintage sleeve, if there is a sleeve to match the label that will be used and as for feedback I always wait for the seller to receive the record and leave feedback as then I know the record arrived safely and was as stated in the listing. Check my feedback I have been shipping 78's for over five years with no problems including international shipping through e-bay, if there is an issue please contact me and it will be resolved. I like to recycle and with the cost of media mail more is better, I combine shipping, with each additional 78 record being $1.00, I am always open to offers and thank you for looking. I use the Vintage Jazz Mart (VJM) scale for grading 78's both visually and aurally, some 78's are played prior to listing and prior to shipping when sold and although I am not a professional grader I do know what I like and I try to grade under. I recycle and with the cost of media mail being reasonable I believe more packing less breaking. I ship Internationally through Ebay Global Shipping strictly. Vintage Jazz Mart (VJM) Grading-78 RPM Records N Mint unplayed as from the old store stock, very rarely if ever used E+ Plays and looks like new with very few signs of handling, such as scuffs from sliding in and out of the sleeve. E Still very shiny near new looking, with no visible signs of wear, but a few inaudible scuffs and scratches. E- Still very shiny, but without the lustre of a new record with a few scratches. V+ Is an average condition 78 record in which scuffs and general use has somewhat dulled the finish. Wear is moderate but playing is generally free from distortion.Surface noise not overly pronounced. V Moderate , even wear throughout, but still very playable. Surface noise and scratches audible but not intrusive. V- Quite playable still but distortion and and heavy greying in loud passages. Music remains loud in most passages G+ Grey throughout but still serviceable. Music begins to sound muffled, heavy scratches. G Quite seriously worn and scratched, but music level still higher than surface noise. G- Music still prominent, but wear and scratches extensive. F Most of music remains audible over surface noise, listening uncomfortable. P Unplayable
