This special 25th Anniversary Edition comprises two discs … the original 'Poi E' CD plus an 11-track bonus CD that features several previously unreleased songs, re-mixes and live material. All tracks have been re-mastered from the original quarter-inch master tapes by sound wizard Paddi Addison. It was on the strength of this music that Patea Maori Club performed at The London Palladium, the Edinburgh Festival and a Royal Command Performance. In 2009 the song "Poi E" returned to the NZ singles charts, reaching #45 -- 25 years after its original release!!!
