Description: Factory original stock from an old Mossberg 42C. It has beautiful wood grain and is a tough and rare to find stock but has some problems. It has some of the usual damage and cosmetic wear from age as well as a crack by the left wrist of the stock, near the top. The crack looks like it can be repaired without much trouble and given how light recoiling .22 is, it should have no problem holding with simple wood glue or whatever epoxy you might use. It looks like there may have been another crack which has been repaired as well at the top part of the wrist, but this one is only visible from the top and not the bottom. Part of the top of the forestock up front on the left also has a chip of wood missing. Tough to find part if you've got a trashed Mossberg 42C that you need to restore to original condition!
