Description: I am selling a Panasonic RF-4900 radio receiver from my personal collection. The unit is in excellent physical condition with less than fair wear-and-tear blemishes. There is some slight pitting on the chrome handles. The radio has spent most of its life in an air conditioned environment. This model has a striking appearance and would be a welcome addition to decorate an office, home library or study, or man cave. The loop antenna is adequate for the AM broadcast band but the receiver really jumps with an external wire antenna. The HF bands really need an external wire. FM broadcast is OK with just a wire hanging off the back of the antenna terminal. The radio meets or exceeds Panasonic’s specifications as measured with an HP 8648B RF signal generator. I am asking an even $300.00 with an additional $75.00 for shipping via USPS. Local pick up in Tucson, AZ is OK.
