To be very specific, after some detailed online research, coupled with the pattern matching algorithm on the Replacements Ltd. website, I've identified these Royal Copenhagen pieces as: "Baby Nesting Robin," Model 2266, approximately 2-1/2" tall and 2-1/2" wide (each) Designed by Francis Valdemar Platen-Hallermundt. Factory mark: Blue Wavy Lines, Royal Copenhagen, Made in Denmark So why am I selling them now, you may ask? Well, as I get older, I'm in the process of downsizing my household and selling off those things that I really don't use or look at on a regular basis. And as there is no particular sentimental value tied up in these items, I don't mind parting with them. It's as simple as that. They're in excellent shape; and I'm sure that the buyer won't be disappointed. No significant chips, cracks, scratches, or repairs present that I can find. Somewhat oddly, even though they are absolutely from the same "Model 2266 line, the coating color on the bodies of the robins varies ever so slightly between the two of them -- one being a little darker and the other a little lighter. Personally, I think that makes them more interesting as a pair. Realistically, I suppose that this is actually due to factors involved in the hand-painting process, during the original production run, all those years ago in Copenhagen.
