Description: THIS AUCTION IS FOR BOTH TICKETS SHOWN, TICKETS THAT INDIVIDUALLY HAVE REPEATEDLY SOLD FOR MORE THAN $100. HOW SCARCE ARE THEY? I WOULD SIMPLY ASK ANYONE HOW OFTEN THEY HAVE SEEN THEM FOR SALE. ALL OF THE 50± COLUMBIAN TICKETS I HAVE FOR SALE OR WILL HAVE IN MY "WORLD'S FAIR" SALE COMING UP, ARE SCARCE TO RARE. NOTE: You'll find that the World's Columbian ticket listings I'm posting will all have virtually the same information. I'm going to list a few scarce and desirable tickets to the World's Columbian Exposition in the coming weeks, leading up to s special world's fair sale I hope to have live around the first of December. If you drop me a note with any questions (such as tickets or other items you might be looking for) I'll let you know more details about the sale. We are just winding up our October "Shipwreck" sale in our online store. I've been very pleased with the response and the sales. But I still have a lot of great stuff not yet sold. This, and the forthcoming world's fair sale, will be fixed prices rather than an auction with bidding. And EVERY item in the sale will be priced below retail, some much more so than others. The sale opened October 4 and will close on October 31. While our forthcoming sale will be world's fair items only, it won't be "just" tickets. But so far I have lined up about 40 Columbiana tickets, most scarce, several rare; tickets from Buffalo 1901; Paris 1931; San Francisco 1915; and many others Besides expo tickets, we'll have just as broad a selection of expo medals and so-called dollars pluss 3D souvenirs and more....a child's New York world's fair jacket, Seattle World's fair several t-shirts and sweatshirts, a Columbian jigsaw puzzle and much more. I am aiming on 100-150 lots and to be frank, the number will depend on how many items we can get photographed, described and listed; we have no shortage of items, just time to get them ready to sell. Thanks for looking and please take a look at the tickets and other items I'm listing leading up to the sale. This and all of the tickets I'm listing now will open MUCH LOWER THAN than their retail market value and the Buy it Now price should entice many folks as these are still lower than the ticket(s) have sold for on the few occasions they have sold in recent years. Remember, if you get an opening bid in ASAP, the option of a Buy it Now disappears. I am also continuing to work on my CATALOG/BOOK OF ALL COLUMBIAN TICKETS AND PASSES....and that means I continue to go through thousands of documents and notes on prices for tickets in the last FORTY YEARS. We ALWAYS combine shipping and 5 or 10 tickets could travel just for the one $5 postage cost.
