P. Buckley Moss PRINTERS PROOF 11/12 "Together" 1981 VERY RARE Silkscreen 30"x30

Description: This is a very rare item for collectors of P. Buckley Moss. The original art is a silkscreen. This is a Printers Proof of which there were 12 made. This is #11. Does that mean that the printers proof is also a silk screen? I have no idea. This item is so rare I am not able to find out much about it. Printers proof are rarely available. The printers seal is embossed in the lower left corner of the print. see the last picture in my listing. She typically had 25 artists proofs made prior to her limited editions of 1000.The print is signed and dated 2/22/81. At least I think is says 1981. The rare print list has it at 1987. They also list it as a silk screen.The other unusual thing is that the geese have feet and if you are a Buckley fan you know that she most always deletes their feet.I have removed the art work from its frame and tossed out the very heavy glass that is no longer used to protect and show beautiful works of art. Modern glass used for expensive pieces of art protect the art from UV light and fading and is non glare so that it is almost invisible.It is also MUCH lighter!!! to ship as well. The print is matted with a neutral triple matt.I will ship this item to you in a flat well protected cardboard wrap that will protect it and keep it flat and cost way less to ship. The other thing it does is protect your art work from broken glass if there were a problem in shipment.
