Catalog is undated but was taken from a compilation issued in 1962. Asbestos ReferenceS: Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 Asbestos is not specifically mentioned in this catalog however the Owens-Corning Fiberglas Corp. proprietary product called Kaylo is potentially referenced. Although not mentioned here Kaylo is a rigid hydrous calcium silicate that contains asbestos which is added during manufacture to improve mechanical properties. Kaylo was used as the core material for the "B" label doors. Diagrams also show a kaylo core in the elevation and cross section views. Owens-Corning Fiberglas is not mentioned in this catalog but the kaylo product appears to be. On the last page there is a short list of typical installations that has schools, hospitals, colleges, government and other buildings/owners. See photos for further reading and info!
