First of all it isn't really free; sellers just adjust the price to include the freight. I'm going to try not selling freight free for a while and see if it doesn't make it better for my customers. Any item that can be shipped first class mail or media mail will be shipped freight free as those rates are the same no matter where the item is shipped. Priority mail varies by location and package size. If I adjust my price to cover shipping a large package to NY and ship it freight free, someone in Kansas ends up paying way too much for the product. Please know we do not add shipping and handling fees, what you see as postage is the actual cost charged by USPS. Note that there may be two options for shipment of your item. Priority mail ... faster, retail ground ... cheaper. Please check to see which shipping option is best for your shipment. In some cases they are about the same price. Priority mail costs are increased to some regions based on package size. Anything over 12 x 12 x 12 has a price increase when shipped out of my region.
