Description: This is the Ovation Celebrity CK-047 Koa Top 6-String Acoustic Electric Guitar. 25.25" scale. 1.69" nut width. 15.75" bottom bout. 4" deep. This Celebrity CK-047 takes its styling cues from its cousin: the Ovation Balladeer. But the traditional spruce top is replaced by a stunning top of highly-figured Hawaiian Koa. The soundhole rosette is classic 'Ovation', and the body is bound in classic multi-layer cream and black. The full depth bowl combines massive projection and resonance with feedback killing curves. And despite its space-age material usage, this instrument produces a killer acoustic tone unamplified. It has a well developed bass response, very warm mid-range with sparkling top end, which is ideal for articulate fingerpicking and single note runs. The pickup and OP20 preamp, with 3-band EQ and built-in digital tuner, it's a snap to dial in the perfect tone for any room. The under-saddle pickup it sensitive and dynamic, and the preamp EQ is smooth and musical. Together with the trademark roundback design, anyone can achieve perfect live acoustic tone with virtually no chance of feedback. One of Ovations standout features is always just how comfortable and playable their necks are, and this neck carries on that family tradition. The neck here is solid feeling -.85" deep at the 5th fret- with a soft V profile, and the deep body cutaway lets you get to every inch of that neck. An exceptional guitar for lead players. The rosewood fingerboard is deep and dark, punctuated with mini-abalone dots and diamonds. This Ovation Celebrity CK-047 Koa is in excellent condition -there are a few small typical marks.
