Description: In the coming months I am converting a tiny fraction of my several tons of exotic hardwoods back into cash- the good stuff that rarely makes it back to market. I had this stuff drying indoors in a heated space for a decade or more and some of it dates all the way back to 1992 when I began collecting the prettiest wood I could find from around the world. If you have a question, please ask it before purchasing- I know my wood and will answer within a few hours most of the time. All dimensions are +/- 1/16" but tend to be more accurate. If there are defects that I can see that I think would cause a problem I will note it in the description. Burls and live edge may have natural internal flaws. If you want the best, you'll likely find it here. If you don't like it when you get it, just return it for exchange, credit or refund, your choice. These have very nice nice lacey burl figure and great color and contrast, will make gallery quality knife or wherever your imagination takes you. Air dried for several decades and then dried once more in a vacuum oven before being stabilized to perfection. Beautiful scales ready to use for a variety of projects like gun grips, knife scales, box wood, micro lumber, etc. Photos are of the dry wood, sanded to 240 grit to better represent how it will look when finished. Just try to imagine how nice this will look with your favorite finish applied!
