Description: RARE, ORIGINAL, AUTHENTIC patch from the US Navy's USS MIDWAY (CV-41) Ship Shield Patch. This version looks to be from the late 1970's/early 1980's.This patch has "a white, felt" backing, a "cut white" border, has a "fully embroidered" background, no velcro, and the dimensions are shown in the photos...the ruler on the right is 6". This is from a retired US NAVY CAPTAIN's collection I just acquired, and hope to find it a good home.
