Description: This is a wonderful, vintage illustration of a western saloon scene painted in 1960. Notice all the great facial expressions, stunningly painted clothing, magnificent detail (hands, hair, guns and holsters) and overall colorful brilliance of the orange-reds (after 60 years) in this painting. It was painted in gouache on illustration board (23x20") for a western book or magazine. This is one of over 20 paintings I purchased from a collection of illustrations, several of which were signed by famous illustrators Walter Langhammer and Roger Hall. This particular work is unsigned, but is clearly done by an extremely accomplished illustrator as demonstrated by the quality of this piece.
