Description: Stunning original vintage painting, done in a 1920's Art Deco style, featuring a dancer in an alluring strapless green, black and orange printed dress with matching fringe shawl, red beaded necklace and earrings, green arm cuff bracelets, a red rose and oversized comb adorning her black hair, and a green and black fan held to frame her face. Beautifully done. Medium appears to be gouache and ink on watercolor paper. Handwritten on the back are the lyrics (not exact wording) for Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy, which was a 1941 hit song famously performed by The Andrew Sisters. Dimensions: 5 3/8" x 9 1/8" Condition: Some soiling, edge toning, and a few small light spots from storage. Top edge is rough, with some glue from sketchbook binding on back. Edges are mildly rippled and there is a crease at upper right corner. All items are carefully inspected prior to listing and my customer's satisfaction is important to me. I'm happy to answer any questions or supply additional photos if needed. Prompt payment following the auction is very much appreciated.
