There are no chips, cracks or paint loss. The pewter lid needs polishing. The pewter is also finely detailed and has rich dark patina.The stein measures 8" tall from base to top of the lid by 4 1/2" wide at the base.It has a portrait of Ronig Ludwig II 1845 - 1886. There is also Th Neuschwanstein on one side and Schloss Inderkof on the other.It is an impressive Thewalt stein and will be outstanding on disply.
